Opportunities: We are all so busy with so many things that it sometimes seems hard to find the time to build
positive relationships, have a quiet time with the Lord and spend time in the Word hearing from the Holy Spirit as
He teaches us truth. Healthy and vibrant small groups can provide a setting for love, nurture, and
communications that move us beyond the surface and superficial to a genuine love for each other. As we share
our lives, support each other and spend time praying and studying the Word together, the reward is enrichment
in our personal lives and with the Most Holy Lord! We currently have several Small Groups meetings at different
times of the week either at the church or in individual homes.
Men of Valor: Our men's ministry is one that will allow all men to join together to help our church family grow and
nurture each other. David who is described by God as man after his heart and whom Samuel describes as
mighty valiant man is our greatest encouragement. David gathered about him "the discontented, the rebels, the
outlaws" (1Samuel 22:2) to come together as soldiers in the Army of God. They had to be summoned, trained,
and encouraged, and many were eventually able to become his mighty men - Great Men of Valor. This is our
goal in our ministry, to teach men how to make real changes and begin new lives as Men of Valor. We have at
least one activity each month to get involved with. Pastor Joe Hernandez is the Leader of this ministry. Take a
look at our calendar and join us on any event that you feel lead. We hope to see you soon.
Daughters of Sarah: The Daughters of Sarah are a group of women who are dedicated in raising up virtuous
women of God. Sarah's daughters are those women in the world who can relate to Sarah. Sarah who called her
husband "Lord", and Sarah who's name means "Princess". It is these women who went through the trials life
and who stood up to be the wives, mothers and friends they ought to be. All women are encouraged to take part
of this ministry. Pastor Marina Hernandez is the leader of this ministry. Keep a look out for events and gatherings
posted in our calendar. We welcome you to participate.
Bread Ministry: Our church benefits from various organizations like bakeries and food service providers. So
every week volunteers go to these venues and pick up bread and sweets. All who have a need are encouraged
to help themselves. Anyone in the community can pick up day-old bread at the church after each Sunday morning
Service. Jesus said, "I was hungry and you fed me" (Matthew 25:35). Please check our calendar for special days
dedicated to give away bread.
God's Closet: This ministry is dedicated to provide free clothing to those in need. Anyone who has a need is
encouraged to help themselves after each Sunday morning service. Jesus said, "I needed clothes and you
clothed me" (Matthew 25:36). Please check our calendar for special days dedicated to give away clothes.
Finding your Calling (Discipleship): We at MDGR are dedicated in equipping the family for ministry. Our goal is to
provide Discipleship training for the harvesting of new souls. We work to prepare the growing Christian towards
becoming a mature disciple. We are driven and motivated by God's calling to evangelize (Matthew 28:19). We
seek to learn from the teacher himself through His living word.
Hour of Power: The Hour of Power prayer ministry desires to be prayer support for our church, our community,
our nation, and our world. Intercessors make a commitment to spend one hour each week in intercessory prayer
for submitted personal prayer requests, all areas of MDGR church, home and foreign missions, local and
national governments, and world concerns.
Praise and Worship Team: With the church being a bilingual setting the service starts off with your traditional
Spanish gospel and it is intermingled with contemporary English songs. The music is uplifting and the praise
and worship team will motivate you and lead you into the presence of God. The Holy Spirit is given the liberty to
minister through the music. Anyone seeking to get involved is encouraged to contact administration.
Missions: We at MDGR proudly sponsor Victory New Testament Fellowship International (VNTFI). They currently
have missionaries serving in 22 different countries throughout the world. They also have chaplains in the
military, hospitals, prisons, and hospices. Through our donations and prayerful support we hope to plant the
